YEAR 4 – Verb “To have got” (verbo tener)

We have started this school year reviewing the verb “to have got” (verbo tener in Spanish).

Verbs have always a close friend by their side. These friends are the SUBJECT PRONOUNS. Do you recognise them, don’t you? 🙂

STRUCTURE:

  • SUBJECT PRONOUN + VERB
  • (I/You/He/She/It/We/You/They) + have got

When we have clear the pronouns, then we focus on the VERB TO HAVE GOT:

STEP 1 – AFFIRMATIVE/POSITIVE

STEP 2: NEGATIVE

HAS + NOT (N’T) = HASN’T GOT

HAVE +NOT (N’T) = HAVEN’T GOT

STEP 3- INTERROGATIVE/QUESTIONS

YEAR 3 – The verb “to be” (verbo ser y estar)

Hello!

On the one hand, we can sing this simple song and learn the verb to be. It is a very important verb, and we use it every day.
