We have started this school year reviewing the verb “to have got” (verbo tener in Spanish).
Verbs have always a close friend by their side. These friends are the SUBJECT PRONOUNS. Do you recognise them, don’t you? 🙂
- SUBJECT PRONOUN + VERB
- (I/You/He/She/It/We/You/They) + have got
When we have clear the pronouns, then we focus on the VERB TO HAVE GOT:
STEP 1 – AFFIRMATIVE/POSITIVE
STEP 2: NEGATIVE
HAS + NOT (N’T) = HASN’T GOT
HAVE +NOT (N’T) = HAVEN’T GOT
STEP 3- INTERROGATIVE/QUESTIONS
On the one hand, we can sing this simple song and learn the verb to be. It is a very important verb, and we use it every day.
On the other hand, we have two activities where we can put into practise what we have learned with the song. Let’s do it!
We have 3 options:
ACTIVITY NUMBER 1:
ACTIVITY NUMBER 2:
Let’s practise our routines! For that reason, I have designed this game for you.
Have fun! 🙂
